Lauded as the world leader in deep water crude oil extraction, Petrobras augmented its towering vessel fleet through the Completion Ceremony of the Petrobras 54 (P54) Floating, Production, Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessel held this evening at the Jurong Shipyard. Jurong Shipyard, a subsidiary of SembCorp Marine Ltd, achieved yet another milestone today as it marked the completion of the Singapore leg conversion from a VLCC to a FPSO; to be deployed at 1,315 metres at an oil field offshore Brazil where it will operate for 25 years without drydocking.
