The Asia Insurance Review (AIR) and the Australia & New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) marked yet another chapter in the history books of the Australia and New Zealand insurance sector with its roaring success of the Australia & New Zealand Insurance Industry Awards 2005 held on 25 July 2005 in the heart of Sydney Australia at Westin Hotel.

This awards, the brainchild of the organisers unite the insurance and finance industry across all sectors in Australia and New Zealand; to reinforce public confidence in the insurance industry and exalt the best the industry has to offer. StrategiCom is proud to manage this honourable event in Australia.

Winners include CommInsure for the Life Insurance Company of the Year and Insurance Australia Group (IAG) for General Insurance Company of the Year. A unique Services to the Community Award was victoriously won by AMI Insurance. A total of 12 prestigious awards were presented. The Australia and New Zealand Insurance Industry Awards 2005 fielded a 600 strong audience from distinguished insurance and financial institutions throughout Australia and New Zealand.
