Workshop on IMC Gets Thumbs Up
30 May 2006 | By Dr Wilson Chew - Group Principal Consultant & CEO

Singapore’s leading B2B brand consulting firm, StrategiCom, held The Enterprise Brand Workshop Series ’06 titled, “Brand Building with IMC for B2B Companies”. Held in conjunction with IE Singapore, Spring Singapore and The Singapore Business Federation, the highly anticipated workshop attracted more than 40 delegates, consisting of CEOs, Managing Directors and Managers, from the various sectors of the economy.

The workshop, which is the first installment for the 2006 series, touched on a wide variety of branding topics ranging from IE Singapore Mr Jacky Tai’s “10 Rules of Branding” to StrategiCom’s Dr Wilson Chew’s “Using MICE to Build Brands”. Also among the list of distinguished speakers was Ms Christina Cheang, Deputy Managing Director of Hill and Knowlton (SEA), who gave an interesting perspective into building brand credibility through PR.

The well-organised workshop, coupled with highly entertaining speakers and presentation materials rich in branding resources, left a lasting impression on many delegates and provided them with the necessary knowledge to build a strong brand for their companies.

The workshop also created a networking platform for the delegates through a buffet reception held during lunch time, allowing the sharing of ideas and business opportunities among the delegates and organizers. The success of the workshop was summed up by one of the delegates, who said: “This workshop has taught me many new concepts and issues, which will go a long way into helping my company build a strong brand. I cannot wait for the next Enterprise Series Brand Workshop”.
