StrategiCom, IE Singapore and the Singapore Business Federation jointly organised a Business-to-Business Brand Workshop on 29 March 2006.
The seminar attracted more than 50 delegates cutting across various sectors. Aptly entitled “B2B Branding for Singapore SMEs”, this seminar explored several relevant branding issues relevant for the sustainability of local Small and Medium Enterprise. Mr Jacky Tai, Programme Manager (Branding) of IE Singapore, kicked off the programme of the day by sharing his rendition of the 10 Rules of Branding. “Local enterprises place a heavy focus on productivity and efficiency but neglect the strategic aspects of their company and products. With not so strong a brand, they are frequently compelled to compete on price and this is unfortunate” said

A key driving focus of the seminar was to inculcate in our local enterprises a positive attitude and correct mind-set with regards to branding.
