There are basically two strategies that a business can adopt to grow - differentiate or sell cheap. After all, if customers cannot perceive any difference between the various brands that are vying for their attention (and wallet), they will buy whichever is cheaper. Unfortunately, most Singapore companies will find it next to impossible to compete on price. So, they have to find a way to differentiate.
